As our industry matures, more and more game developers are sorting out how to balance the demands of their careers with the realities of growing older.

With age comes hard-won experience and connections, but also new responsibilities and personal challenges. When it comes to making games, does getting older make things easier -- or harder?

We posed the question on Twitter today, and developers responded with remarkable positivity. While every game maker weathers the vicissitudes of age differently, just about everyone who answered our question felt that game development gets easier as you get older -- with some caveats.

As always, if you're interested in participating in these conversations in the future, make sure to follow @Gamasutra on Twitter. Questions like this usually go out on Fridays in the late morning, Pacific time, alongside Tweets of our regular news, blogs, and original writing.
