I know a lot of people who have transitioned from other disciplines.

I decided to map those transtions here for future reference...

... just to have something to refer to whenever I or a colleague might feel that a career is at a dead end.

Hopefully, this will be useful to somebody who finds themself falling into that same mental place. There's always a next chapter.

Kain is a former games journalist and lifelong gamer with core experiences amongst JRPGs, CRPGs, SRPGs, Shmups, Beat-em-ups, retro twitch, and fighting games (formerly a competition level Soul Calibur and Street Fighter player).
