The editors of Gamasutra sister publication Game Developer magazine would like to remind developers to take part in the annual Game Developer Salary Survey, which compares salaries and benefits from throughout the video game industry. The survey closes Friday the 17th, and participants who complete the survey can enter to win a free GDC pass. With the provided information, the publication will provide a snapshot of what developers are earning across a broad swath of disciplines, offering data that can help inform (and hopefully benefit) the entire game development community. Once again, the survey will maintain its year-on-year comparison of salaries, benefits, and home-owning statistics across North America and Europe, and all developers within these regions are encouraged to participate. Indies, salaried employees, and contract employees are all welcome to fill out the survey. The survey takes approximately seven minutes to complete, and results will debut in the April 2012 issue of Game Developer magazine. Those interested in participating can fill out the survey now. The process is completely anonymous, and specific individuals will not be associated with any of the presented information.
