Newsbrief: Roadhouse Interactive, the online game studio behind Family Guy Online and MechWarrior Tactics, has acquired The Embassy Interactive to add Facebook and iOS development to its capabilities. Founded in 2008 and headed by veterans from EA Canada/EALA, The Embassy Interactive is best known for releasing titles like THQ's UFC Undisputed Fight Nation for Facebook, and Tangram Puzzle Pro for iPhone. The Vancouver-based studio will now operate as Roadhouse Game Studios, and will be headed by Roadhouse Interactive president Tarrnie Williams. Its co-founders Sebastiaan Reinarz and Ryan Donaldson will serve as creative director and external design advisor respectively. Roadhouse Interactive has previously specialized in core-targeted games, but it says this acquisition signals a new chapter for the company, enabling it to take on a wider variety of projects in the future.
