Newsbrief: A group of former Halfbrick developers have struck out on their own to launch Prettygreat, a new indie studio based in Brisbane, Australia.

Muscat is perhaps best known as the creator of Halfbrick hits Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride; you can watch him deconstruct the latter game's design at GDC 2012 over on the GDC Vault.
Going forward, Larsen acknowledged via email that "this is literally Day 1" for Prettygreat, and that while the studio has little in the way of announced plans "we are open to everyone and ready to knock it out of the park."
