Newsbrief: Roughly five months after repurchasing the rights to Rime from Sony, Tequila Works has added another title to its production slate.

The Spanish studio has agreed to co-produce mysterious puzzler, The Sexy Brutale, alongside UK studio Cavalier Games.

Co-founded by former Lionhead senior programmer Tom Lansdale and brothers Charles and James Griffiths, the Guildford-based outfit will work with Tequila to prep the game for a Q1 2017 release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Incidentally, Tequila recently announced that Rime, their own long-gestating puzzler, will finally land in 2017 with the backing of new publisher, Greybox.
