Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Aeolus, my first iPhone game, has been released on the App Store.
Aeolus went live on the App Store on Friday 14th December 2012. It's currently just for the iPhone. I've already started work on Lite and universal versions, and hope to have something available early ion January.
The gameplay is simple - land hot air balloons on platforms, pushing them round the screen using swipes and holding them in place with taps. It's a simple, fun and slightly addictive (or at least that's what people tell me) arcade/puzzle cross.
Why Aeolus? Simple: you play the roll of Aeolus – Greek God of Winds - amusing yourself with the mortals who venture into your domain. Yes, for some reason I believe every game has to have a story behind it (no matter how tenuous) :)
Please, take a look and let me know what you think. As a spare time coder releasing my first game I'm pretty much picking stuff up as I go along, so any feedback would be gratefully received.
