Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?

Last week we had another project update meeting. I know what you're probably thinking. Sprint review, right? Well... kinda. It would be if we were sprinting, which we are not, not really. What these focused interrogation sessions amount to is more like a "Are you guys doing work and, if so, can you make these changes for us?" meeting. Kinda helpful, but I always loose a heay sigh at their culmination and dream fond dreams of a more agile environment.
Scrum fantasies aside, last week proceeded with about the consistency and about the clip as all of those that proceeded it. Did some crunch to get the big muliplayer mission out and did some more crunch when the requirements for the mission after that changed literally an hour or two before we were going to ship it. That's pretty much the way things have been going around here since the beginning.
This is the week of the Thanksgiving holiday and so it will necessarily be pretty short. The count is currently 24.5 including today - effectively three more weeks until graduation.
I've got something fun in mind for this blog that I believe I'll get started once the 16th of December rolls around. You know, once I'm no longer bogged down with academic requirements.
