Newsbrief: While Electronic Arts' latest SSX snowboarding title is set to debut next month, the publisher has lost its bid to win over the SSX.com domain name from an outside party. In October, the SSX.com domain was purchased by Abstract Holdings International LTD as part of a $200,000 domain name portfolio purchase. For a short while after the thereafter, the domain was used to host a series of game-related advertisements, which spurred EA to file a claim with the National Arbitration Forum arguing the domain had been registered in "bad faith," reports Domain Name Wire. Upon examining the filing, a three-person National Arbitration Forum panel ruled that EA's argument was invalid, leaving the domain in the hands of Abstract Holdings.
