ESA's 15th annual 'Nite to Unite' charity dinner rasies $822,000

The ESA announced today that it raised $822,000 at this year's "Nite to Unite for Kids" charity dinner, the proceeds of which will go toward improving education children across the United States.

Newsbrief: The Entertainment Software Association announced today that it raised $822,000 at this year's "Nite to Unite for Kids" charity dinner, the proceeds of which will go toward improving education for children across the United States. The charity has now been running for 15 years, and since its inception it has attracted top developers and professionals from all over the game industry. This year's "Nite to Unite" -- which took place October 18 in San Francisco -- honored Valve co-founder Gabe Newell, who has led his company in creating classroom initiatives based on the popular Portal games.
