Newsbrief: Mobile studio Firefly Games has partnered with Dreamworks and NBC Universal to create Dreamworks: Universe of Legends, a new action-RPG featuring a buffet of huge movie licenses.

It's a notable step for Firefly, which last year raised $10 million to produce more titles based on Hollywood properties.

Universe of Legends utilizes characters and locations from a smorgasbord of Dreamworks franchises including Shrek, Madagascar, How To Train Your Dragon, and Kung Fu Panda.

Players will be able to collect and customise characters from each film series before leading them into battle across both single and multiplayer modes.
