First day of Game Design Fundamentals Course at Full Sail went very productive. We got an overview of a few game developing methods like the top-down and bottom-up design methods and the Molyneaux effect. We also got divided into groups for the class project and came up with a very basic idea of a game. We developed the executive summary and dust jacket description (which I'm sure will go through various iterations before it's final stage). We also got a description of our individual class project in which we'll do a design analysis packet of a specific aspect of a given game, very interesting. I'll probably do it about Assasin's Creed II, I just got the game and although I haven't played it much I'm really looking forward to playing it and seeing what all the hype is about.
