Newsbrief: TRC Family Entertainment, a multi-media production company fronted by former Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Chris Deering that received millions in funding from the Maltese government, has reportedly been gutted while staff go unpaid. According to reports and an internal email sent to TRC employees and as printed by GI.biz, around 90 percent of staff have been made redundant, while the workforce has gone unpaid for several months. Back in 2011, TRC said it would develop a "fully fledged" game, ready for digital distribution in the U.S. market around now. That game was Wishingtooth, a drawing app.
