GameStop stores in Europe and Australia are now offering downloadable content for the PlayStation Network, as part of a new agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
Newsbrief: GameStop stores in Europe and Australia are now offering downloadable content for the PlayStation Network, as part of a new agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Consumers are now able to purchase DLC for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita games from more than 1,600 GameStop stores across Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy and Spain, amongst others. DLC can be bought using trade credit, as well as the usual payment methods. The move comes as GameStop looks to bolster its digital strategy. Earlier this month, the company announced a partnership with behemoth developer Valve, that sees the latter's Steam Wallet initiative made available in GameStop stores.
