Valve has named the best selling Steam titles of 2017, giving us a glimpse at the spending habits of its enormous user base and revealing which games brought home the most bacon.

As it did last year, the company decided against sharing exact revenue figures, and instead grouped releases into platinum, gold, silver, and bronzes categories based on how much gross revenue they pulled in.

As you'd expect, the biggest earners have been placed into the platinum bracket, and the top tier features a number of familiar names like Grand Theft Auto V, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, The Witcher 3, DOTA 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and Rocket League

The gold collection also includes some recognisable faces, with the likes of Assassin's Creed: Origins, Fallout 4, Arma III, Call of Duty: WWII, Stellaris, and Dark Souls III all making an appearance.

The full list is 100 games strong and can be viewed over on the Steam website, but if that's a click too far you can check out which titles went platinum and gold by glancing below.
