GDC officials are excited to announce that the Indie MEGABOOTH Showcase exhibit will make a triumphant return to GDC this year, with a curated array of innovative indie games that will be playable by all GDC passholders (from Expo to All-Access) at various points during the week of the 2015 Game Developers Conference, March 2-6. "We had a really positive reception from the participating teams and the development community last year so we're thrilled to be working with UBM again to bring a new set of games and teams to GDC!" said the Indie MEGABOOTH's Kelly Wallick. The Indie MEGABOOTH Showcase is a collection of independent developers banding together to show off the latest and greatest indie games at conventions across the world. The MEGABOOTH exists to help bolster the independent development community by pooling their resources and enabling them to showcase their work prominently, make industry connections, and build a support network needed to help them become successful alongside larger AAA budgets. The organizers have worked with more than 150 independent game studios to select a variety of games across multiple platforms -- including mobile, PC, console and more -- for exhibition at prominent game industry events, and next year they're coming to GDC 2015 to showcase 15 new titles. Last year the interactive space hosted a selection of excellent indie titles, including Asteroid Baseas Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, Rocketcat Gamesa Wayward Souls and Sentris from Timbre Interactive.
