Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima has joined the advisory board of California-based virtual and augmented reality company, Prologue Immersive

The move reunites him with long-time friend and designer Kyle Cooper, who's worked on a number of Metal Gear titles since making his series debut with Metal Gear Solid 2

Prologue Immersive was founded in 2015 by Emmy nominated designer and creative executive, Kimberly Cooper, and will focus on creating virtual reality worlds and pioneering the software and tech behind virtual and augmented reality.

"It would be my absolute pleasure to assist the Coopers on this new adventure they are embarking on," said Kojima

"Through VR, I am certain they will strive to connect films and video games and take us on to that bridge to the future that lies ahead."
