Gigantic has had a long, winding road to release. First announced in 2014, the free-to-play hero shooter will finally leave beta this week on PC and Xbox One, putting it fully toe-to-toe with its other competitors in the hero shooter marketplace.

There’s a lot of great game design happening in this popular new genre, so what makes Gigantic unique? We’re going to be answering that question in a conversation with lead designer Carter McBee and senior concept artist Vinod Rams today at 3PM EDT on the Gamasutra Twitch channel.

If you’ve got questions about making free-to-play multiplayer games, or want to talk about the game’s unique visual design, you should definitely join us in Twitch chat to ask your questions of the Gigantic team.

And while you’re at it, be sure to follow the Gamasutra Twitch channel for more developer interviews, editor roundtables and gameplay commentary.
