Newsbrief: Over 50 million PS4s have been sold worldwide since the console launched in November 2013, Sony has announced.

A Black Friday sales spike helped the company hit that milestone, which includes the sales of both the regular PS4 and the new, more powerful, PS4 Pro. Sony estimates that combined third and first party PS4 software sales now total over 369.6 million units.

For added context, when we last checked in May this year the PS4 had just hit the 40 million sales mark, meaning Sony has managed to shift another 10 million consoles in roughly six months.
