Post-apocalyptic first-person shooter Metro Exodus has amassed 6 million sales in three years.

4A Games' threequel, based on the popular Metro series of novels from Dmitry Glukhovsky, launched in February 2019 and is currently available on PC, Mac, Stadia, and consoles.

The title takes place after the events of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, both of which were also developed by 4A Games.

4A Games was purchased by Swedish holding company Embracer Group for $36 million back in 2020. Embracer is also the parent company of Metro Exodus publisher Deep Silver.
