Newsbrief: Though it wasn't shown during the company's E3 press conference, Nintendo will publish a new game called Project P-100 (working title) from Platinum Games. Osaka-based Platinum Games is best known for working on titles such as Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Gamasutra understands that Hideki Kamiya, who helmed the teams behind Bayonetta and Okami, will direct Project P-100. Billed as a "mass-hero action" game, Project P-100 has players commanding a group of catoonish superheroes (e.g. Vending Machine Man, Toilet Bowl Man) who work together to fight invading aliens. It will launch with Wii U this holiday season.
