Newsbrief: The PlayStation 4 is now available to purchase in 48 countries worldwide from today, with launches in regions such as Czech Republic, Greece, Turkey, and South Africa. The Sony next-gen console launched in the U.S., Australasia and much of Europe in November. Now Sony is hoping that this additional 16 countries will help boost PS4 sales even more. This compares to the 13 countries from which the Xbox One is currently available. Of course, it's looking rather neck-and-neck between the Xbox One and the PS4 up to this point, although it remains to be seen whether one of the consoles will pull away from the other as more units are shipped to retailers.
