Newsbrief: The PlayStation turns 20 this December, and Sony is taking the opportunity to launch its first PlayStation Experience fan event in Las Vegas. This is the first time Sony has held such an event in the U.S., though it's certainly not the first game company to do so -- Mojang (MineCon), ZeniMax Media (QuakeCon) and Activision Blizzard (BlizzCon, Call of Duty XP) have been hosting similar events as a form of community outreach for years. Sony is asking its fans to pay between $50-$90 for tickets to the two-day event, which starts Decembers 6th. The company will also offer select developers an opportunity to speak with their fans via panel discussions, meet-and-greet sessions and game demo stations.
