Sony XDev Europe, a studio that has previously been focused on releases for PlayStation platforms, today revealed that it will soon release a LittleBigPlanet endless runner for mobile devices. Run Sackboy! Run! is coming to mobile devices and the PS Vita, and sees players tapping and swiping to make the LittleBigPlanet main character dip and dodge around obstacles. The game will be free-to-play with in-app purchases, and will release on Vita, iOS and Android in October. It's a notable move both for the Sony XDev team and for the LittleBigPlanet franchise -- this will be the first time Sony has released a LittleBigPlanet game on a platform other than PlayStation.
