Gamasutra and GDC parent UBM Technology has has put out a call for a German-based European salesperson, tasked with handling key exhibit space and sponsorship sales for shows from GDC Europe to GDC San Francisco. This position will oversee all of the company's European event sales (excepting England) for the company's entire event portfolio brand, including major shows such as GDC San Francisco, GDC Europe, and GDC Online. The account manager will be tasked with not only developing and growing relationships with current accounts in the bulk of Europe for booths and sponsorships, but also attracting top-tier technology organizations and emerging companies from the entire region. UBM Technology Game Network (also owner of Gamasutra) is seeking an individual with at least three years of outside sales experience, as well as experience selling events or other media to large, complex companies using a consultative selling process.
