Newsbrief: Supergiant's sophomore effort Transistor has sold over 600,000 copies across PC and PlayStation 4 since its launch last May, according to a post on the company blog.

Supergiant's Greg Kasavin notes that Transistor proved to be the company's fastest-selling game to date, as it sold "even faster relative to Bastion during the first couple of months after its launch."

Bastion eventually went on to sell over 3 million copies across multiple platforms, and Supergiant is hoping Transistor achieves similar long-term success.

For more insight on the topic, check out our interview with Kasavin about the development of Transistor and the studio's concerns about trying to surpass audience expectations set by Bastion.
