Social and casual gaming firm WildTangent has launched a new mobile games service that offers a variety of free and rental titles to download from within a newly available Android app. The WildTangent Games App can be downloaded for Android devices, and helps users to find the best casual games available for the Android OS. The app is available to download worldwide, although it is only currently available in English language. Games already available via the service include the likes of Doodle Jump, Fruit Ninja, Kona's Crate, Air Attack HD, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Raging Thunder. Users can also access WildCoins, WildTangent's virtual currency, via the app, and use them to rent and purchase games. Sean Vanderdasson, senior vice president at WildTangent, explained, "Smartphones and tablets are a great fit for our service as we pride ourselves in offering the best entertainment value for game players." "Just like movies and music, consumers prefer to own some titles, rent some and watch some for free, and we've brought these same options to games. With our new Android service, game developers will expose their games to the widest audience possible, using the most comprehensive business model in the games industry."
