Zombies! a Creaters dream? or a lost cause?

As Quick as Zombies infected our hearts have they lost their touch? Zombies are a humanistic based creature that from the underworld invade a flesh deceased figure that wants to instantly start feeding on the living. Now that most understand the concept of a zombie how does one expand this? Should Zombies have their own genre? Should they only infect games like call of duty nazi zombies, red dead redemptions downloadable zombie content, and live only in resident evil? Now one must understand that there are literally numerous games with zombies in them, but thats all. They are just in the game. Developers must be getting tired of zombies if they are only willing to just place them here and there. Don't you believe zombies are becoming more mainstream?

Yea yea we have seen vampires and giant man wolves, but nothing comes close to the chaos and eerie feeling one gets when your character in smack in the middle of zombie hordes with just a knife and quick thinking. Zombies should have their own genre, their own games. Not just dead rising which was a great start, but which some believe wasn't exactly on the money. You cannot run through hundreds of zombies like you are breaking tackles. Zombies need to be more crafted and characteristic. Not every zombie will give up chasing you in fact if a zombie seen a human i guarantee it will not stop or give up unless it was put out of its missery or found another to feed off of.

What do the gamers feel about this? Is this something to look into? Should video game companies find a way to build apon this new zombie maddness? Are zombies loosing their touch? Like vampires are they just another lost cause? As gamers we should try and let the developers know how we feel about zombies. In the end they are people with feelings as well. hahaha
