Hey Everyone,
Hope you are all doing well and thank you for taking the time to sit down (Or stand up) to read this. I am Max as many of you know, I have been making games professionally for almost 5 years now. During this time I read a lot of books, articles, listen to podcasts and watch videos on YouTube.
I have come across some great ones and some not so great ones, but today's purpose is to share the focus on one book which I believe is a great read for all designers, from veteran to the rooks, professional to a hobbyist.
The book is How Games Move Us.
There are a lot of books out there which just talk about the overall process of the game dev cycle. While this focuses on one specific element which is how games use mechanics, methods, and design features to provoke emotion in us the players.
To hear my full break down of the books and more details on how it describes the process please listen to my podcast:
