Robert Fink is one of our rock star artists here at SuperGenius. A while back he decided to propose to his then girlfriend, Angel in the most fitting way a game developer can. By making a game.

Robert set the stage here and told Angel she needed to playtest a game at SuperGenius. This is not unusual. We told her we needed to film her for analytics or some technical junk like that. Also not unusual. What was unusual, was when she beat the game she got a marriage proposal instead of a princess. Well, Robert can be kind of a princess, so we’ll go with that.

When she walked out of the conference room there was all of SuperGenius and their families waiting for them with champagne. It was rad. And adorable. Radorable!

I’ve seen all kinds of cute and clever marriage proposals over the years, but this one threw salt and lemon juice into my eyes. It was call caught on film. Check it out. The website is here: http://pixelproposal.com/. It goes a bit further into the backstory. The video is below.

This supports my theory that game developers are some of the coolest people in the world.
