The Don of your family has been killed while attending a major meeting in Havana. Now is it up to you to act as the Don of the Corleone family, and build your family into a symbol of untouchable power. Along the way, you clash with other families, who also want that symbol of untouchable power. So in order to gain this symbol, you have to destroy the other families by taking over all their businesses or rackets as they are called in the game.
