Representatives from UK developer Slitherine Software have confirmed rumors that the gold master of upcoming strategy game expansion Gates of Troy has been stolen. Apparently the disc was on its way back to the company from the duplication plant by special delivery, but the postman delivering it was assaulted outside the company’s offices and his bags stolen. It is not clear whether the postman was deliberately targeted, but if the thief does realize what has been stolen then pirated copies of the game, which is an expansion to the strategy game Spartan, could easily be made.
