Actor Jake Gyllenhaal presented the award at the celebrity-studded event, that also saw numerous premiere trailers for games like Halo: Reach, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, and the new Medal of Honor. Other titles, including Green Day: Rock Band, a sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum and a new installments in the True Crime franchise were announced for the first time at the awards show, which aired Saturday night, December 12. PS3-exclusive Uncharted 2 was also named the best game for that platform, while Left 4 Dead 2 earned Best Xbox 360 game and New Super Mario Bros. Wii won best Wii game. Dragon Age: Origins took home the nod for best PC title.
