Wii Fit Plus Leads As Dragon Age Debuts Strong In UK

Wii Fit Plus ousted Football Manager 2010 to gain the top spot on the weekly UK sales charts, while BioWare's role-playing game Dragon Age made a strong debut, Chart-Track reported Monday.

Wii Fit Plus ousted Football Manager 2010 to gain the top spot on the weekly UK sales charts for the week ended November 7, while BioWare's role-playing game Dragon Age: Origins made a strong debut, Chart-Track reported Monday. Nintendo's Wii Fit Plus -- in its second week of availability -- saw unit sales climb 3 percent week-over-week on the all-platforms charts to capture the top spot. Last week's number one, Sega's Football Manager 2010, dropped to number four. The highest-ranking debut on the all-platforms charts -- which include all versions of a given title -- was Electronic Arts' and BioWare's critically-acclaimed RPG Dragon Age, which ranked number five. The only title dropping out of the all-platforms rankings from last week was Borderlands from Gearbox Software and 2K. Below is Chart-Track's all-platforms top 10: UK All Platforms Chart 1. Wii Fit Plus (Nintendo) 2. FIFA 10 (EA) 3. Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo) 4. Football Manager 2010 (Sega) 5. Dragon Age: Origins (EA) 6. Forza Motorsport 3 (Microsoft) 7. Mario and Sonic at Olympic Winter Games (Sega) 8. GTA Episodes: Liberty City (Take-Two) 9. Pro Evo Soccer 2010 (Konami) 10. Tekken 6 (Namco Bandai) UK Individual Platforms Chart On the individual platforms chart, which ranks games by each version of all titles, the Wii-exclusive Wii Fit Plus was the top runner, followed by another Wii-only game, Wii Sports Resort. The Xbox 360 version of Dragon Age outsold the PC version (number 11), while the PS3 version of the game is due later this month in PAL territories.
