Representatives from Acclaim have indicated that the company has resolved its differences with BMX rider Dave Mirra, with no damages being paid by either side. Mirra will continue to be under contract with the company until 2011. The official reason given for the dispute was related to the use of Mirra’s sponsor’s logos in the game BMX XXX, although it is widely believed that the vulgar nature of the game was the root of the problem. After the title’s lack of sales success subsequent games are all assumed to be part of the core Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX series.
