Acclaim Entertainment representatives have announced that they are delaying the filing of the company’s quarterly report because its auditors have not completed their work. The report will be delayed by five days, but in a notice filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the company revealed it expects to report a net loss of $18-$20 million for the quarter. The company insists that the delay is no way associated with its involvement in the SEC’s probe into industry accounting practices.
