Ascension Releases Improved Mostionstar Wireless Tracker

Ascension Technology today announced its latest mocap product--Motionstar Wireless 2. Key to this new model is improved dynamic accuracy and near jitter-free capturing. Capable of capturing the motions of up to five people at the same time without lag or occlusion, this tracking system provides for total freedom of movement. Version 2 increases the accuracy of vertical motion captured, and eliminates data spikes that occurred with previous models when the sensors were rotated about their axis. Also included in the new system is the company's Environmental Analyzer, which aids in finding and eliminating interference from metalic objects in the capture area. Existing users of Motionstar Wireless can upgrade their systems with the new trackers.
