According to Internet reports Atari have shut down PC developer Legend Entertainment, with the company’s website already being taken offline. The company’s most recent product was Unreal II: The Awakening, which failed to perform as expected at retail. Representatives from Atari have refused to comment on the issue but Legend project director Glen Dahlgren has confirmed the closure in a post on the Shacknews website, indicating that the move by Atari was, “a bit of a surprise”.
