The British arm of publisher Atari has announced Driving Theory Training, an upcoming Nintendo DS title that lets players study and practice driving theory and highway laws. Atari says the title is intended to help learners with provisional licenses (equivalent to a U.S. learner's permit) study and simulate the actual test, and help them prepare to get a driver's license. Atari says Driving Theory Training will feature the full driving theory questions and answer test officially licensed by the Driving Standards Agency. Players can also use mini games, graphs and quizzes related to vehicles and code laws. Atari UK managing director Jeremy Wigmore commented, “Knowing the rules of the road and the highway-code is vital part of driving and passing your theory test. Atari UK have been striving to replicate the driving theory exam in an educational and informative application. We hope this title will help people learn everything they need to know to successfully pass their driving theory test."
