Software developer Blue Orb has announced that it has partnered with in-game advertising firm Double Fusion to sell and serve ads for its PC gaming application, SwitchBlade. SwitchBlade is an ad-supported downloadable application that enables PC gamers to play games like World of Warcraft using an Xbox 360 controller. Ads will be served to SwitchBlade users as they would with a website. Double Fusion serves in-game advertising to titles including those of recent licensees Kuma and Aeria Games. Blue Orb president Pete McAlindon commented, "With Double Fusion as our ad sales partner, we're able to connect directly with advertisers looking to reach gamers. The partnership allows us to streamline our sales process and focus on developing the best controller gaming solutions for our users. Double Fusion has set the standard with in and around-game advertising."
