House and Senate budget negotiators approved a key part of a financial package aimed at enticing Electronic Arts to expand in central Florida. Lawmakers on Sunday night said at least $4.2 million would be available to launch a specialized program at the University of Central Florida to train prospective employees. The UCF program is part of a $41 million package of incentives that Orlando, Orange County and others are trying to put together to push the company to expand locally. Source: Associated Press
