Caligari has released its Gamespace modeling and animation software—designed for game developers, mod-makers, and game enthusiasts. Available for a MSRP of $299, Gamespace allows these users to create characters and worlds, and is based on the company’s Truespace product. Gamespace includes the Python scripting language for game prototyping and makes it easy to import and export major game formats, including:

  • Quake 2, Quake 3 and Unreal

  • DirectX & 20 other game formats
