Website Globe Technology has released console hardware figures for Canada, which show a similar situation to the market in the US and parts of Europe. The number of online players for PS2 and Xbox were quoted at around 200,000 and the installed user bases for the three main home formats are as follows: PlayStation 2: 2.5 million units Xbox: 900,000 units GameCube: 700,000 units
