Carrara Studio 3 Adds HDRI Support

Eovia today announced the immediate availability of Carrara Studio 3—a 3D modeling and rendering package designed for producing Web, print, and video content. Key rendering features added to Carrara Studio include Eovia Impression (a non-photorealistic rendering engine), Eovia Photon Reality 2.0 (a global illumination renderer with HDRI support), alpha channel rendering, and raytraced soft shadows. Enhancements to the modeling capabilities of Carrara Studio are an enhanced extrusion tool, a tree generator, and a library of 150 3D scenes. Carrara Studio 3 supports both the Mac (OS 8, 9, and X) and Windows platforms, and is available for an MSRP of $399.
