Cascade ACM SIGGRAPH, Western Oregon and Southwest Washington’s local SIGGRAPH chapter, recently announced “Bring Your Own Art” (BYOA), scheduled to take place during Portland, Oregon’s renowned First Thursday, on June 7 at 6 p.m. at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. BYOA is a celebration of the computer graphics community in Western Washington and Oregon, showcasing works in progress, projected art, animation, 2D and 3D models, fine art, visual, web, print, game and graphic design. Over 2,000 people are expected to attend First Thursday, providing artists with an exciting opportunity to show their work. This event is free and submissions are open to the public. To participate, artists should contact Michael Smith from Cascade ACM SIGGRAPH with their contact information, type of art, art size, and title.
