Organizers of the Casuality Seattle event for casual game developers and publishers have announced a series of confirmed mobile game industry speakers, including Anders Eyju of I-play and Ken Ruck of Wireless MTV Networks, as the significant crossover between casual and mobile games continues. The event is due to be held in downtown Seattle at Benaroya Hall from June 27th to 29th. Additional mobile game sessions and speakers have been added following the Casuality Europe in Amsterdam in February. As a result, the Seattle event will include information on how to design a successful mobile game, alternate channels for mobile games and how to enter the mobile market without experience in mobile development. “It’s no secret that some of the most popular mobile games in the world are casual titles,” said Craig Holland, CEO of Freeze Tag and Mobile Strategy Director for the Casual Games Association. “At Casuality Seattle, we’re bringing together some of the most talented and knowledgeable experts in the mobile gaming field to help everyone raise the bar.” The full list of confirmed mobile game industry speakers includes Kyu C. Lee, President, Gamevil; Robert Nashak, Senior VP, Chief Creative Officer, Glu Mobile, and Mike Yuen, Qualcomm, and further information can be found at the Casuality Seattle official website.
