A new games development studio has been formed which aims to make games focused towards a Christian audience. The new company, named Digital Praise, is staffed by a team whose experience is primarily in the education sector and includes franchises such as Carmen Sandiego, Reader Rabbit and Oregon Trail. The company’s first products will be based on the recently acquired license to the Adventure in Odyssey radio theatre series. President and CEO Tom Bean is optimistic about the company’s potential, citing the continued growth of the games industry in general as evidence that products at aimed at a niche market can still be profitable.
