Columbia House has signed a strategic consulting agreement with game publisher Majesco to market and sell videogames to the 11 million members of the Columbia House DVD and Music Clubs.
The first phase of the new strategy launches on today, with an invitation to the Columbia House DVD membership base. That will be followed by a mid-July launch for Music Club members. Initially, around 100 different SKUs will be offered across the PS2, Xbox and GameCube. Majesco will help Columbia House acquire games from major video game publishers, and will provide merchandising, co-op advertising and strategic consulting.
