The latest 'Blogged Out' news report, looking at the world of developer blogging and the conversations being had with the community at large, checks out the crazy world of Henry Jenkins and the even crazier world of man-faced deer. Regular columnist Jim Rossignol notes in the introduction to his column: "Henry Jenkins, the Director of the MIT Comparative Media Studies Program and the Peter de Florez Professor of Humanities, has started blogging. Jenkins is an important academic commentator on games and gaming, as well as having plenty to say about the rest of contemporary media. (More importantly, perhaps, he's a fan of Seth Green's awesome animated TV series, Robot Chicken. There can be no higher recommendation for academic credibility.)" You can now read the full Gamasutra column on the subject, including more from Jenkins and other elements of the game blogging world (no registration required, please feel free to link to this feature from external websites).
