Gamasutra's round-up of worldwide titles to debut the week ending June 24th 2006, the only canonical listing available online, deals with top games including NFL Head Coach (America) and LocoRoco (Japan) making debuts this week. In fact, the column notes of the signature European release for the week: "Another of Europe's exclusives this week is LocoRoco, a game that has become one of the PSP's most eagerly awaited titles in recent months. Playing somewhat like a bongo-less version of the GameCube's Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, LocoRoco is a platformer that has grabbed the attention of gamers worldwide with its bright, colorful graphics and simple control scheme. Already the comparisons to Katamari Damacy are starting to roll in and the word "quirky" is being thrown around with reckless abandon, so it's at least got the journalists excited. That has to count for something, right?" You can now read the full Gamasutra column on the subject, covering all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending June 24th, 2006, and including much extra insight on the titles debuting this week.
